NEW SCLUB NEWS HERE!
Paul's band could face fight over name
Paul Cattermole's new band Skua could face a rocky start - as a band with the same name already exists!
They are a Swedish "heavy grooverock" outfit that specialise in psychedelic, progressive jazzrock.
It's believed that S Club star Paul's band is a nu metal outfit.
He told Newsround about his school band Skua in an interview in January:
"I used to be in a rock band. We had a Limp Bizkit vibe."
"It was kind of like Rage Against the Machine, but six or seven years ago. We used to write our own tunes so the vibe was much more creative and organic."
In the past other bands have been forced to change their name if another band with the same name already exists.
Earlier this year Liberty were forced to rename themselves Liberty X because a band with the name Liberty had had a few hits in the early 1990s. (from Newsround)

S Club on Holiday!
When Popworld met up with S Club 7 last Friday they were all about to go on holiday! During their three weeks off, the gang are heading off all over the globe - Tina will be in the Canary Islands and Bradley in the Bahamas, whilst Hannah 'n' Paul are getting a bit of Caribbean sunshine! Meanwhile, Jon is staying at home to spend more time in the recording studio and Jo is catching up with her family. The recently engaged Rachel was keeping schtum about her holiday plans, but she show Popworld her engagement ring from finace Jeremy Edwards! The specially made ring has a big diamond set in a platinum band, which has more diamonds set in it! The beautiful ring did pose one problem for the lass, though. 'I keep getting my hair caught in it!' She said. Poor thing. (from PopWorld)

SC7 Nu LP!
When PopWorld caught up with S Club 7 recently, they couldn't wait to play us exclusive snippets of their brand-new album! Jon revealed that his fave track was 'Who Do You Thin You Are?', but that at first its title had caused some confusion. 'When we found out we were recording a song called 'Who Do You Think You Are?' half of us burst into the Spice Girls' version and the rest of us started singing the M People song in a really deep voice!' the lad told us. 'But I can assure you it's not the same song!'
From what we've heard, the fourth album has more of a dance feel than the previous ones - and there are even a couple of garage-style choons in there! Bo! 'I'd definitely say that our fourth album is a bit fukier and more dancey,' Bradley agreed. 'There's a couple of two-step vibes in there but it's really commercial garage.' Brad also told us that the group are getting more of a chance to contribute to songs for the next album. 'I'm writing a few songs at the moment and, hopefully, I'll get one or two on there - maybe even three! That'd be a bonus!' We can't wait to hear the finished product, but there is no release date for the new album yet. (from PopWorld)

Paul Talks About His Decision...
So, Paul, what will you miss the most about being in S Club 7?
'I think Hannah, to be honest.'
Will you miss performing for all the fans?
'Of course! I'll miss that massively too! That's kinda what you do it for - the performing. You do it to get in front of a crowd and be an entertainer, becuase there's a part of you that loves the adoration of the crowd - that's why you do it.'
Will you miss the boys' nights with Bradley and Jon?
'Yeah, yeah, I'll miss the sessions! [Laughs] I'll miss playing the playstation in LA! I'm really gonna miss greasing Bradley up, actually!'
Where you worried about telling the group that you'd decided to leave?
'Yes! It was one of the most terrifying moments of the last few years! Especially telling someone like Jon, because I'm quite close to Jon. Not that I'm not close to any of the others, but - apart from Hannah - Jon's probably the person I'm closet to. And knowing how much he cares about it, how much he cares about the band, I didn't want to upset him - but you know you're gonna. You know what you're about to say is not gonna be good news. It's not easy.'
Who did you tell first?
'Jon... Well, Hannah first, sort of in person, overnight, just to see how it settled with her. But she already knew - I'd been talking about it for a while, so she knew it was on my mind. But this the actual definitive, like, 'I have to do this 100%. I've made my mind up, this is what I've got to do.' But I don't think the others were so sure, because it was at a time when work wasn't really hard, so there were no stresses. It was kinda, 'Oh my god! I can't believe you're doing this!' It was calculated, because I had time to think about it.'
So it wasn't too much of a suprise to Jon or Hannah, then?
'Well, yeah, kinda. Well, it was a shock to Jon, yeah. Maybe he had an idea, I don't know...'
Tell us about your new band...
'We're called Ralph's Trousers and our album is called Left-Handed Scooter Potato. Nah... We're called Skua - as in the bird - becuase, you know, we're being of nature and also because, when we were thumbing through the dictionary, that's what we opened on! Our music set-up is kida like [US rock-rap group] Rage Against The Machine.'
